Ingredients

2 lbs. Ground Beef
2 lbs. Sausage Links
1 med/lg Onion
2 (8 oz) cans Tomato Sauce
3 (8 oz) cans Water
1/3 Cup Chili Powder
1 tsp. Ground Cumin
1 tsp. Ground Oregano
1 tsp. Ground Paprika
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Pepper
1/2 tsp. Cayenne (red) Pepper

  Directions

Chop onion.
Slice sausage.
Brown ground beef with onion in large pot.
Drain off grease.
Mix in tomato sauce, water and spices.
Stir in sausage.
Cover and simmer on low heat for at least 45 minutes.
Stir occasionally.

Tips

Adjust water for desired consistency.
Simmer longer to allow sausage to really absorb the spices.

Warning! This recipe is very hot.
Cut back on Chili Powder and/or Cayenne Pepper to lessen sweating.
